About Samantha
Samantha is a native of Queens, New York, starting her training at a nearby dance studio at the young age of three. Her love for dance continued on as she began to train at Laguardia Performing Arts High School and The Ailey School, where she was a recipient of the Donna Wood Fellowship. She went on to graduate from Fordham University with a BFA in Dance, immediately after joining Ailey's second company, Ailey II. In Ailey II, Samantha was given the opportunity to work with highly esteemed choreographers, such as Dwight Rhoden, Manuel Vignoulle, Jean Emile, and many others. She also performed Mr. Alvin Ailey's masterwork Revelations.
Samantha went on to freelance with such companies as Nimbus Dance Works and Elisa Monte Dance. She has performed in The Red Dress fashion show and was a featured artist on Zoe Saldana's media and news company Bese. Before the pandemic she was a featured dancer on tour with Step One Dance Company aboard the Zuiderdam ship for Holland America Cruiseline, where she travelled around the Caribbean, performing and exploring the world. Most recently she completed two years of touring with the Lion King Rafiki Company and is back in NYC.

Step One Dance Company
Samantha most recently returned from her travels with the North American Tour of the Lion King. She was lucky enough to have performed in over 20 states and is returning to New York with a full heart. She is excited to embark on all of the new opportunities to come after her experience with this incredible show.
